This 5 day course is suitable for those with no experience of using the ADOS, who wish to become familiar with or trained in using the ADOS-2.

January  2014                    

Understanding the Mental Health Needs of School Children: A Workshop for Education Professional (CPD24)
This series of workshops is for education professionals working in primary and secondary school settings in various roles.

Meaning and Mindedness: Encounters Between Philosophy and Psychoanalysis (CPD15) 
This series will provide an opportunity to explore the common ground between psychoanalysis and philosophy. This month's Seminar will be: The Origins of Moral Life.

Systemic Work: Moving on with Theory and practice (CPD79)
This course is for professionals who have completed the “Diploma in Applied Systemic Theory” (or equivalent) and wish to continue their professional development.

Understanding Trauma: Principles and Practice (D18) 
This 1 year part-time course is unique in bringing a psychoanalytic frame of reference to understanding and working with traumatic experience. 

Shadow Lives: Despair and Resilience in Experiences of some Muslim Women and Children in the UK (Conference)

A talk looking at the experiences of Muslim women and children in the UK whose husbands and fathers have been imprisoned, put under house arrest, or deported under antiterrorist legislation, but who have never been tried.

Understanding Development - Adolescence (e-CPD101)
This 11-week online, awareness self-study course is aimed at those with a specialist interest in adolescence.

This 1 day course is suitable for health, education and social care practitioners requiring Level 3 training.

Understanding Couples (CPD55)
This half day workshop is designed for counsellors and psychotherapists who work with couples.

This series will provide an opportunity to explore the common ground between psychoanalysis and philosophy. This month's Seminar will be: Art and Self Realisation.

Short Course on Developing Skills in Collaborative Work with Parental Mental Illness (CPD 35)
The course will equip you with a family systems approach to enhancing your confidence in engaging effectively with parents and children in the context of parental mental illness.

Working with Difficult Patients: Psychoanalytic Understanding Applied to Working in Psychiatric and Forensic Settings (CPD38)
These 1 day courses will offer a model for thinking about serious and enduring mental health problems in mental health and forensic settings.
